not coming online while it is still daylight and then being too tired to read and post. I hope all had a fun day and will have a fun weekend. I will spend the better part of tomorrow hunting down bags for my antique vacuum. I went to one store that sells only vacuums and accessories; they told me my model was no longer made. I stopped at Goodwill today and they had 27 Pasta Pots on the shelf for $10.00 each. I didn't that the price was low enough to get one; besides, I still use my colander I got at a Tupperware party 35 years ago.

You all sleep sound. I hope I will have more time to spend tomorrow. Kathey

Actually,Lanie, I think it all started when one of us(might have been me) complained about the Pasta Pot popup ad that kept coming on our board. Then, BB said she had actually bought one and it went on from there.

Dear Kathey Did you hear about the Nun who got thrown out of the Convent? Ok don't hate me for this bad joke. She got thrown out of the Convent because she had a dirty habit. Ok I will take 20 lashes with a wet noodle from the Pasta Pot. I know. I just put a bag over my head. I will be forever known as unknown comic. Catherine

Hi BB. And with all the rain we've been having we can put the pasta pots on the lawn and fill them up with rain water. Thanks for the welcome. Catherine

Hi Kathey! We got a set of them at the Goodwill store, yes those pasta pots! They might be good to catch rain in them! LOL My DH broke the handles off the big one. because it would not open for me! I do like the cheese grater! I would rather have the free chopper thingie though! Now I am back to using my yellow plastic colander to drain pasta! I think I got it at a tupperware party too, it was a longgggg time go! hugs, SusieK

SusieK, Didn't they advertise those things with a lifetime guarantee? Maybe you can send yours back and get a new one with handles. You don't have to tell them you got it at the Goodwill. I have several of those chopper things tell me where to send you one and its yours. I mentioned to my kids one time how I would like one and every time they would see one at a special sale it was mine. It took me several Christmass' before I could convince them I had enough to last a lifetime of nut chopping and such. They would say "but mom what if it gets dull and they don't sell them anymore what will you do" how can you argue with that kind of logic? So I just gave up and every once in awhile one shows up again. They almost ordered me the pasta pots to get the chopper lol. But you could buy them cheaper at Wal~mart cheaper than you could order them from tv and not have to pay the s&h charges. At one time they had the whole set with the cheese thing and the chopper and the pasta scoop as well all for $14.95 and that was less than the ad on tv. So now when I see something advertised on tv and it says not available in stores I know it will be in Wal~mart within the month and if it interests me at all I can go there and look at it. I guess that is the way it is all over the US in all the Wal~mart stores. Let me know if you are interested. Kulani
