Good morning friends. Actually, I see it's afternoon, but you get the drift. lol Frannie I met yesterday. We have a lovely day. We went to the local beach and sat in the sun for about 1 1/2 hr. The bay was lapping gently and the sun was out. It was glorious. Afterwards, we went to a local seafood restuarant, that Frannie and I like and had the most delicious Neptune Salad. Greens, crabmeat, shrimpg, cheese, coleslaw and garlic toast. Yum!!!! It was a very pleasant day and our Frannie looked good. The only bad thing, besides having to leave, with the traffic jam I hit going home, because of a car fire. But I managed. It is raining again today!!!! I read Hope's post and I hope, but doubt it, that the rain will miss her. I feel like the entire east coast is just going to wash away. BB, hopefully, you'll get your parents to see you soon. Enjoy Mexican tonight. Read a good many of the posts this afternoon and hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend. Hugs Lynda

I'm so glad you and Franni had a good time. Glad to hear she's looking good!

Car fire, eh? When Ric and I were headed up towards Flagstaff two weeks ago we saw a big semi-trailer fire. Well, actually all we saw was the smoke - the median there is very wide and the vehicle was behind a little bluff. That had traffic backed up about 3 miles. It was still sitting there smoldering when we came back by on our way home 4 days later!

Hugzzzzz to ya, Lynda....

I'm so glad to hear that Franni is doing so well, and happy that you two were able to spend time together again. You are lucky to live so close to each other.

Have a good Sunday, my friend.....BB

I think you're right, Lynda! The Atlantic Ocean just may be my new home if this rain doesn't stop soon. Thankfully our year 'round home is on a hill and we get no flooding, but those at the opposite end of the street have real problems. We live in the upper valley of the Charles River ... which eventually flows to the sea ... and may take us with it! ;-)

Hopefully the rain will clear this morning and our final two weeks on the Cape will be more pleasant. There was street flooding there last weekend ... lots of high wind and tree damage, too.

Think SUN!
