Thanks for all your kind words about my DF Shelly. I called her house and a relative answered the phone. She is doing as well as can be expected, but is probably in shock right now. .

I've been out with the DGdog already. (Why is it that old Mom gets to take the dog for a walk when DS is here?) DS and I did enjoy a lovely little dinner here last night. It's very seldom that just the two of us can enjoy dinner. (His GF had to work this weekend)

I am headed to early church, then will stop at the grocery store to get a few things. DH will be home today and the fridge is bare. (Lanie, I know you find that hard to believe!)

CUall later,

Hugs,Shari

I will continue to keep your friend and her family in my thoughts and prayers. I can't fathom the horror of this situation!

Many blessings to you, too, for being there for support.

It might be empty now, but you will fill it up with good stuff. Maybe the crowds have arrived over there, but they haven't yet yere below the Mason Dixon line. The weather is still kind of yucky and the schools aren't out yet.

Nothing planned here today. I think DD is coming over to pick up the furniture they want and tomorrow I will be calling the Press to put an ad in it for what we have left.

That was so fast if it was the tick bite which caused his illness. Both my sons had Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever when they were young but they were much older than this baby. Their fevers stayed at 104 for so long and they were so sick. It sounds as if it consumed this little fellow's system in a hurry. I will keep this young mother in my prayers.
