It's raining. Enough said.
We're up, showered, and dressed. My DH is off to work. A final load of towels is in the dryer and the throws we use to protect the family room sofa from the pups are in the washer.
As soon as the rain subsides, I'm heading for the Cape. My DH will join us later.
Half our lawn was mowed before the latest rain moved in. It will be mile-high by the time it dries out!
The graduation party was lots of fun! The rain kept most everyone inside, although the younger guests ventured outdoors to a huge tent the family rented. Not a bad idea given the weather we've had.
The next two weeks on the Cape will be lots of fun! Tomorrow we have planned a drive to P-Town. Tuesday we'll explore the beaches and little town centers of Truro, Wellfleet, and Eastham. Wednesday it's Orleans and Chatham. Thursday various *cousins*, their spouses, and pets will begin arriving for our Cousins' Club Gathering. Four humans and one dog will be staying wth us. The others will be spread out over four other homes that are within a few miles of us. If all goes well, there will be 21 in all.
We have a variety of activities planned ... alternate plans if the weather is rainy. I hate to even think about that but ... Everyone will stay until Sunday evening or Monday morning.
Then my DH will go back home to work for three days. While he's away, a friend will be staying with me from Monday until Wednesday. Thursday and Friday my DH and I will try to do all the things we planned ... but never found time for. Then ... it's clean the house and head home!
The house is used by all the *young* people in the family during the summer. We go back again in September, although this year we'll miss a week while I'm in Savannah. Not too tough to take! ;-)
Well, I'm rambling! I've got to remind myself ... This is NOT my blog! LOL!
Many blessings to you and yours. See you in a few weeks.

well planned.
