Good Morning Ladies....

Here we are at the start of another week....Every day when I log on to the internet, one of the first things that pops up is the weather forecast and I get so hopeful when I see those days when it shows the "sun"....

I don't know about everyone else but by now the house is starting to get to the point where everything just feels damp...including me.

Yesterday I went over to see my sister for her birthday and spent a couple of hours with her....It was also her older son's birthday. She's getting ready for a trip to Arizona this weekend to visit her friend Lynda...They have been friends since high school.

After that I went over to my daughters for awhile..she's still getting things put away.

Did a little wash for her and we just hung around for awhile..The new place is on a dead end street and there are a lot of kids from Remy's school that live on this block..He's able to go outside and ride his bike with the other kids and he has this huge back yard and the boys were playing ball also. Would much rather see the kids outside playing than sitting watching TV or playing video games.

Lanie - I did see an article in the paper about the wireless companies being required to allow customers to keep cell phone numbers...it also said that several of the wireless companies were appealing this...The one big problem with wireless numbers..is that there is no way for anyone to get your number...no cell phone directory. If they do get this ruling passed...that might be the next thing a directory for cell users..hummm. maybe that's another reason they are against it..more work for them.

Kaluni - yes I intended to call the gentleman from the PSC this morning and thank him, I too believe in showing appreciation for efforts shown and good service given, especially in todays world where so many companies and people couldn't care less. My sister is my younger sister by four years...I am the oldest, she comes next and than we have two brothers and there four to five years between each of us, which means that my youngest brother is almost 20 years younger than myself. In fact he's only a few years older than my oldest daughter...my sister and I are very close, good friends as well as sisters..my one brother and I are close..the older of the two...and my sister is closest to the younger brother, as close as you can be to someone who lives in CA.

Kathey - there was a time when telling a utility you had a sick child might carry some influence but today they couldn't care less...its your problem in fact, one of the many people I spoke with last week said...use your cell phone.

Well instead of wishing and hoping for the sun to come out...I guess it's best to turn my thoughts to what needs to be done inside the house...

Everyone enjoy their day...see you all later.

Val

Good morning, Val. Saw that "sun" thing too and hope it will be here for more than 24 hours.

Good morning Val. The sun is out and the sky is blue. I hope it stays that way for all of us. Kathey

Val- I've had my share of problems with telephone service. When I told them dh was disabled, they said if he has a problem call 911. On top of that the taxes are exhorbitant. One tax dates back to when we funded WWII. They forgot to remove it.

Hope it all worked out- and today the sun is out.
