Hello all! Jackie here from TN. Holidays for us is usually wait and see what comes up except for Christmas Day. Thats always kids and their families and of course my BFF Nancy and DH. Instead of fixing a big meal, we have decided to do

Well, let's see. This weekend we're going to help our DGSs decorate their tree. We'll leave home on Friday back Sunday night. They've asked us to spend Christmas with them. They want to try and get both of their families together, which will be a lotta people. It could be fun and I don't think we can say no. We're not crazy about leaving our cats alone for Christmas, though. We do have a pet sitter who comes in once a day and feeds them and makes sure they're OK. There's a bunch of stuff going on, here in our town, this weekend. But, we'll be with family. Oh well. Too much to do at this time of year!

Last year we didn't have a tree. Just put out some decorations. We had just moved into our house on Dec. 15th and we spent Christmas Day unpacking boxes. This year, we plan to have a real tree and we've got some lights outside which look pretty.

We'll continue Meals on Wheels Wed and Thurs. which is always fun. The rest of the month, we'll just wing it.

Blu checking in from No. IL. I finally broke down and put my snow brush in my car. I figure I've pushed my luck about as far as I can this year. The horrible migraines I've woke up with the last 2 mornings tell me snow is on the way.

This weekend is the busiest of the month. Sat. a.m. I've got breakfast with my h.s. friends, then finally an appt. to get my hair taken care of (I'm in dire need). Sat. night a party with my h.s. couples friends. Sun. is my annual h.s. girlfriends get together and my bff, Merri, will come out from the City and stay overnight Sun. night. The 18th is "The Divine Miss M's" 3rd birthday and her party is on Sat., the 19th at a place called The Tree House. I think there is one in MI and on the east coast too.

I'm spending Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in the City with my bff and her family. It's going to be the first one w/o Mama Blu and the first one for her w/o her DH. I think we need each other this year.

I'm with Donna...I'd like to chuck it all and head to a beach! Hey Donna...how 'bout you and I packing our bags and leaving???? LOL

Hi everyone. This is Sassy (ellie-mite) from Panama City Fl. This month there isn't much going on. My grandson will be 6 on the 24th but they are out of state. We made a personal decision not to celebrate the Holidays. But I want to wish you all a good December. Hopefully the bad weather will ease up..........ellie-mite

Kathey here on the northern side of the Cheddar Curtain and western side of Lake Michigan.

I'm invited to daughter's office Christmas party where everyone will be at least 20 years younger than me so that is iffy. I need to think of something unique for my grandkids who have everything. I need to buy cards so I can send out cards. I need to get to bank so I can get a new calender.
