Sometimes good and sometimes bad

I had a great time driving home the other day. It was raining buckets, water was running over the road, and the wind was gusting to about 30 mph. Each time I hit the water I'd hydroplane. It was cool!
Some people are telling me business is good or picking up and then I visited a customer who said that she didn't have a sale for the entire month of Nov. This lady had a brunch for a group of people so she also fed me. She had an egg casserole that was really good and is going to email me the receipe. Her homemade pear bread was outstanding also.
I've been reading the Mary Higgins Clark Christmas books. They are highly entertaining, and are giving me messages that I probably need to hear.
Have a great day,
K

Good morning, Karen.
Karen you must have been driving in the same rain I was driving in. Except I wasn't hydroplaning, kinda scary.
Sorry the job front is still so down. But yeah, they say it's looking up, but kind of hard to tell.
I was so glad I didn't have to drive in that mess earlier this week.
Well, Karen, aren't you the adventurous one?! I would not like those driving conditions, being the coward that I am.
I've read all the MHC Christmas books. She usually writes them with her daughter, Carol. She didn't put out one this year. At least, if she did, I never saw it. Maybe she just does one every other year.
I have quite a few egg casserole recipes and most are pretty good. I haven't had pear bread but it sounds good. At the last B&B we went to they served Pear and Almond scones. They were wonderful!
Hope your business picks up soon.--Pat
