So what are you baking? :)
Good morning, Ladybugs. The wind and rain kept me up most of the night, so I'm sure I'll fade fast today! At least it didn't start until after our church's Christmas Tea. It was a huge success, again! There were 50 women in attendance. 25 brought appetizers, 25 brought desserts....that was it, an appetizer/dessert party. Lots of yummy things!
I am not looking forward to heading out into this storm this morning, but really need to go to the Y. Not only to exercise (after eating so many goodies last night) but I am also the collector of $$$ for the teachers' gifts. I seem to be the designated one every year. So....guess I'll brave the storm. At least it's NOT snowing!
Tonight we have a dinner party to attend at a very nice Country Club. The only problem is that it is about 30 miles away! I am hoping that the storm has calmed down by then.
DH's cold is much better and I think that I might have alluded it, for awhile, anyway.
I hope your day is a good one! Stay warm, stay safe!

Shari love the siggy. Hope your drive while shopping in the rain is a safe one.
Oh - you make me yearn for the Polish pastry a relative made - Kolache (sp?). I remember the dough as thick & so pliable she had to mix it with her hands. Very rich, shaped into little squares with a bit of fruit filling in the middle and corners folded over. I could use a few with coffee - been up since 5:30 when the 50 mph wind gusts started blowing stuff that hit the house. Temps are already dropping. Guess I'll stay home today. Want to make some potato soup with ends of ham I need to use up, so better get the slow cooker going soon.

I'm wondering if you have a tee shirt with "IT" printed on it.
