Yesterday during one of the doom and gloom weather forecasts for today the forecaster said that the storm coming through has the exact same makeup of the storm that took down the Edmund Fitzgerald on Lake Michigan (or Gitchiegoomie as it was called in the song). The DJ on the radio said, "so that means we're all going to die!!!!" The weather guy said, "no, just don't go out on Lake Michigan!" LOL
I've never seen the barometer this low (27.7) and that's one of the things they were talking about...the low barometric pressure. I'm wondering how I've escaped this w/o a migraine. I'll just enjoy it.
We got about 6.5" of the nasty white stuff and expect the temps to drop to about 14* throughout the day. Good day to stay put. Now if I could just get the snow off my satellite dish so I could get TV reception! Booo hooo!!!!!

Sure do, Blu.
It's waaaaay up on the roof Jacquie!! The wind must have blown some of the snow off because I'm getting reception. I'm a happy camper now!
Well, something is better than nothing. We watch HD from our antenna on a tower and the metal was so wet last night that the pictures were breaking up. Finally switched back to cable (non HD) to catch The Forgotten. Did you check it out?
Jacquie
Yes, I caught it after the finale of The Biggest Loser.
