Hi Girls,
I saw the national weather map and it looks like winter has come to ALL the states.  We've got sunshine but it is COLD here today.  I see that MANY of you have S _ _ _, and lots of it.  I suppose it's time for all of us to pack away our Flip Flops.  *sniff

I'm soon to head out for a day of Christmas shopping.
It's my desire to FINISH my Christmas shopping today.  I hope.  I hope.  I hope.  I have already bought for the ones on my list which are usually the "difficult ones" and now I'm left with the easier ones, which for some reason I'm having problems with this year.

I'm hoping for a day of "inspired shopping".

14 plus inches of snow in central Vermont!!!!!

DH just went out to shovel off the deck and make sure the doors are clear. We're waiting for our snow plower to come to clear our driveway. The trees are just beautiful with their white branches. The rocks in the stream have white caps. We have a metal roof and the snow just fell off the front in a big whoosh! The cats are sleeping in front of the pellet stove, having kitty dreams with their feet and tails moving. Must be chasing mice. The cars look like white lumps.

We did a lot of our shopping on Amazon, this morning. Also ordered some pjs for our daughter from Victorias Secret. I need to visit our local book store to get some books for our grandsons. Still don't have oldest sons list...hope he gets going on it soon. Other son was easy - gift card at his local supermarket to buy food.

Deb, your post banners always make me think of Johnny Carson and Ed McMann doing the "Amazing Karnak" routines. I start laughing before I even open the post LOLOL!

Ohhhh, I remember "The Amazing Karnak".
Perhaps my subconcious has been supressing my love of Karnak and at long last it is manifesting itself on the Board.

Did you finish your shopping? The snow missed me but parts of the state west got the bulk of it. It is going down to below freezing tonight and for the next couple of days.

Cooooollllddd!!! A friend at work recommended that I invest in something called "cuddl-duds" to wear in New York. She said that they were like silk thermals. They're actually some kind of synthetic, but they are really thin and fit under clothes without being real bulky. I bought some and they really are warm! So now I won't freeze to death standing at a stage door ;-)

Hugs,

Melissa
