As I was just telling Donna, my "to do" list is so long, it makes my head spin. I'm still not finished decorating! We bought our tree on Thursday, but it's still sitting on the back porch. DS is coming over today after he gets off work, to help us decorate it. Meanwhile, I'll try and get the rest of the decorating finished before he gets here.
Let's see, what else?....
I did the Jingle Jog (5K) yesterday morning and about froze my bootie off! The temperature was around freezing at race time (8:00), and the wind was blowing *very* hard, but at least the rain held off until the afternoon.
After the race, I went to Target for "stuff," then came home and worked in the house until time to go to a party last night. Great time, and I won one of the raffle prizes -- a gift bag with a bottle of wine, a Jimmy Buffett CD, a T-shirt (a size SMALL...lolololol!) and a beer koozie. I don't drink beer, but....I'll give it to somebody who does.
Okay, ladies, I have GOT TO get myself out of this chair and get busy. I'll be working around the house all day so I'm sure I'll check in here as I take breaks. I had planned to run an errand this morning, but I think I'll wait until tomorrow -- it's pouring rain here again and I just don't want to go out!
Have a great day, everyone! See you later.

Good Morning!
Shall we set up a cheering section for you, Beebs?!!
Good luck on that down coat, Donna.
We spent the morning moving furniture to make room for the tree. We didn't have one last year because we had just moved into our house and spent Christmas unpacking boxes. This year will be different!!
We've put some of my mom's stuff around. She loved Christmas and has a load of decorations. There's a lot of her in this house and I like to feel close to her.
We had 1 degree early this morning. The wood on our deck has been snapping like crazy, which it does when it gets so very cold. We've got the pellet stove going and our little house is cozy. Carols playing on Pandora Radio (internet radio).
We found our bag of cat-proof tree ornaments for the bottom of the tree. This is Carol's first Christmas in a home. We can't wait till she sees the tree, although she may just climb it!! Last year at this time she was homeless, outside and cold,
You're a busy gal but you sound as though you're enjoying all the "busy-ness".
Sounds like you're busy but having a good time too! A beer cozy and a size small T-shirt huh? Sounds like that gift bag belongs to someone else! LOL
I think my Christmas tree is taking a pass this year. It's not like anybody is going to be here to see it anyway. I put some stuff out around the house and in the bathroom so I'm not totally devoid of decorations and I'm burning a lot of Christmas candles. Plus I have my outside lights on every evening.
I'll try again next year.
Hi, BB.
