Hello ladybugs! I arrived at the hotel in the city that never sleeps at 11:30 this morning and it has taken me 45 minutes to get internet connected, but here I am.
Travel day yesderday was v-e-r-y l-o-n-g. We were late getting out of DFW. I had a connecting flight in Atlanta where there was no visibility (dense fog) and everything moved in suspended animation. Missed the connecting flight but got booked onto the next flight to Newark NJ. As the plane made the final turn to land, the city skyline came into view out my window. It was dark and the lights made the view exciting. Took the train down to spend the night with my aunt, and had a lovely visit that I'll resume when I leave NYC on Saturday.
Right now I'm hungry. I'm going to head out of here to get the lay of the land. Temperature is currently 48 with almost no wind. A front is supposed to move in tonight and tomorrow is supposed to be in the twentys and very windy, so I'm going to enjoy today. Tonight I have a ticket to see Nutcracker at Lincoln Center.
More when I have time, and I have learned how to attach pictures, so I should have "art".
Hugs,
Melissa

Traveling in the winter can be a huge challenge...I'm so glad you're in the Big Apple safe and sound. I can feel your excitement and am taking this trip vicariously through you. Sure wish I was there with you...it sounds like so much fun! Can't wait to see photos. Have a great time Melissa.
