Trimming the tree and wrapping Christmas

This has really been an easy and relaxing Saturday. I slept in until almost 7am. Wow! That is so late for me. I felt like half may day was gone. But it will be nice to stay up past 9pm..lol.

After easing into the day with my coffee and bagel, I started on the tree. Now that requires certain movies to be on. First I played Scrooge with George C. Scott.  As I watched that movie, I put the lights on the tree. Now please note, my tree is nowhere near the size of Shari's. LOL, my youngest dgs probably could have carried my tree in the house. Small tree less lights and less ornaments.  Then after Scrooge was over, I put in  It's a Wonderful Life.  Then the ornaments went on the tree.  I finished the end of the movie with lunch.

Later I finally started wrapping gifts. I think I have them all. Let's hope none are hiding because I forgot where I put them. The tree looks so much better with presents under it.

One present was a dress I had bought for my Dgs. It's a gorgeous velvet dress with a coat with a fur collar and cuffs. I buttoned the coat and was OMG! A button missing?? I was going to take it back, but was unable to find the receipt.  I'm going to learn one day to put them all in one spot.  I was desperate, I checked the coat to see if it had a spare button that sometimes are included. That's when I realized, I had it buttoned wrong...lol..Whew!

So all that is behind me. Have a few more to buy, but not stressing about those.

I am so glad the rain has left and the sun has come out. It may be windy and cold, but at least it's not raining.

I hope everyone had a good Saturday.

((hugs))

KT I surely would be fretting that missing button! I paid a lot for the little dress, but it had her name just written all over it. I was happy to finally get the last of it accomplished.

Falcon we have always been on the same mindset. I just wish I could be as organized as you.
