Merry Christmas to all of you

I wanted to wish all of you a merry Christmas. My shopping is all done, the cards are out, the tree is decorated and all I need to do is wrap. I enjoy that and will probably get it done this evening. I really don't do the holiday baking and candy making that my mom and grandma always did. If it is here, I eat it and I don't need that. The kids really don't care as long as they have their occasional batch of cookies. My favorite treat is divinity and they don't like that anyway.
I know the holidays are going to be hard for those of you who have lost loved ones. My thoughts are with you.
We have maybe a 10 percent chance of a white Christmas. We had 4 inches the middle of November that got rained away. Then we had a very frigid week the first part of December - lows to 0 and highs in the low teens if we were lucky. Then it went up to the 40s. We had about 3 inches the first part of last week and it got rained away again and has been in the 40s the rest of the week. This time last year we had almost 3 feet of snow and the university closed for two days. Sounds like the Carolinas are getting our snow this year. I would like a white Christmas, though.
All of you take care if you have to travel and stay warm.

Divinity - MMMM. I have memories of my DMIL beating the ingredients by hand in a copper bowl while standing outside on their porch in freezing weather. But, it was light as a feather -nothing like the stuff sold in boxes today.
Our snow is up to 1" now and tapering off. There is a weather advisory posted for mid to late week, because of storms coming at us from the Plains. There is a diagonal highway that tends to be the leading edge path of most storms. We are on East side of it, so our weather won't be as treacherous.
Happy holidays to you and your family.

Merry Christmas Ellen, sounds like you have a chance of a postcard Christmas. Good to see you.
Merry Christmas to you, too, Sis.
Merry Christmas to you, too. I'm not a holiday person so I just go with the flow.
I just heard on the morning news that we should have a white Christmas starting Christmas Eve. That's ok as long as the lilacs are blooming by the 26th (l).
