I wasn't supposed to go to my mother's until Tuesday for my overnight, but since we're supposed to get freezing sleet and snow again, DH has decided he'll drive me down tomorrow and I'll spend a couple of nights with her and my sister, then he'll come get me when he can. My sister is doing well after her hip surgery, but those darn ted-hose are just so hard for my mother to try getting on sis. So, I'm going down to relieve her now that my cold is gone. Sis said she'd really be glad to get those things off and on in a timely manner! There's got to be an easier way!
Today was my older son's birthday. He said he got breakfast in bed and was getting Greek takeout for lunch with a chocolate cake for dessert. He sounded like a happy camper! Can't believe I have a 43 year old son!!! OY! My DIL from Waco called today and said all is well there and DGS is doing okay. So, we're good.
Anyway, I'll see you all when I see you. No internet down there in Hicksville, so I'll be unhooked for a few days. Have fun with all your last minute Christmas doings! I'll have my cell phone on if anything important comes up.

LOL...sure does sound like you've got a couple of rip-roaring fun filled days ahead of you kiddo!! Now don't got gettin' crazy on us while there!
Happy birthday to "R"...this had to be a tough one on him. You've got a 43 year old son? You're too young for that...not possible!
Save travels tomorrow to you and DH...angels on your bumpers ya' hear?
Pam have a good trip. I know your Sis will be glad to see you and your Mom happy to get some help with those stockings. Glad your older ds had a good birthday and I was feeling old with a 36 year old. Have a safe trip, but hurry back, you will be missed.
((hugs))
Have a good trip, Pam.
Have a safe trip Pam and I bet Mom and Sis will be glad to have you with them. Happy bday to your ds, it is hard to believe when our kids are all grown up, to us they will always be our babies.....Stay warm and dry.....will see you when you get back.
Nurse Pam to the rescue!
Just a girl who knows how to have a good time, aren't you?!
So good of you to go and help.
I'm very pleased to hear your Sister is doing well.
