Solar powered ladybug!!

I got the cutest little solar powered ladybug today in the mail - from BB.  Let me tell you all, that gal is a wicked wrapper!  Once I got the mailing envelope cut open it took me for-ev-er to get to the bug!  Two layers of paper wrapping, and a layer of bubble wrap and an inner gift bag!   It was dark when I got home and got my mail today, so I won't know how powerful her solar batteries are until tomorrow evening.  She is hanging in the west facing window here in my office.

Thank you, BB for thinking of me!!!

You are loved ~~ far more than you may ever know!

I hope you have placed it high enough on the window that Miss Molly can't "enjoy" it.

Awwww...how cute! What exactly does a solar powered Ladybug do?

Our little BB is quite the gift wrapper!

Are you expecting more snow for Christmas? Sounds like we're going to get hit again.

The ladybug measures about 4" long and will hang in the window all day collecting sun power in her solar cells...then she will become a "night light" when the sun goes down!

That was so sweet of BB. She's always so thoughtful. Wonder where in the world she found a solar Ladybug, lol, only BB. Please let us know if it works.

((hugs))

Katie, the little ladybug is just a small "thank you" for all you do to keep the board running smoothly, as well as the recipe site and the photo site!

Hey, Katie, did the sun charge your bug at all?

The weather-folk are threatening us with snow and or freezing rain beginning tomorrow (Christmas Eve day) afternoon, changing to rain by Friday morning.
