Hello Ladybugs -

We made it home from Tulsa around 5:00.
The weather is sunny and mild which made for easy car travel.
We picked Kramer up from the Vet's and he was bouncy and happy!  I had feared he would be stiff & sore from inactivity but that was not the case.  Yay!

The Christmas parties went off like clockwork.  So good to see the extended family.  Lots of laughter and fun along with a few new faces in the form of "girlfriends" of a couple of our family members.  Perhaps some weddings in the future. ???

My Mom was in GREAT spirits and we had a good visit.  She was in her prime having us all to her house for celebrating.  My Sister enjoyed it all too though fatigue is a big issue, but never one to complain she was in the big middle of it all.

At one point in the evening I stepped out onto the front porch of my dd's house and simply stood there listening to the talk & laughter from inside.  I am thankful for each minute and every person who was there that evening.  There were so many of us that we were packed together so there was no way anyone could be left out - sometimes "forced coziness" can be a good thing.   *smile

Sounds great, Deb; like a Hallmark Christmas movie. I'm so glad yur mom and your sister were able to enjoy the festivities.

I've seen those small cages they stuff big dogs into at the shelters. I bet Kramer could wait to get out of the car and run.

Deb, I know what you mean about standing and listening to your family when they are all together. I often do that when my bunch is here. There are a lot of us and we are all talkative and laugh a lot. When I sit or stand back and listen to the buzz, I am filled with joy and gratitude.--Pat
