Hello and happy Sunday, Ladybugs. After a few days of miserable rain, the sun is shining! I'm so glad it's a beautiful day, even though it's in the 40s. DS and GF are heading to the Cowboys/Redskins game this afternoon, in DC . They are both die-hard Cowboys fans so they will be outnumbered for sure. I told them to keep their coats on and not let the Redskins see their Cowboy sweatshirts. They might get attacked. Seriously. The last time DS went to a Dallas/Eagles game in Philadelphia, the Eagles fans threw rotten tomatoes and all kinds of junk on him. You wouldn't believe what he looked like when he got home! Those fans are maniacs!!!
I'm going to make some turkey noodle soup with the leftovers from Christmas Day. As you recall, I cooked the turkey to take to my friend's house, so I kept the carcass and some of the meat just for that purpose.
Now it's time to get ready for church.
Hope you have great day!

At least you don't have the 10" of snow we got yesterday plus it's 20* here this morning. It's definitely winter in the Midwest. We haven't seen the sun in over a week...yuck.
I'm just loving being home and being quiet today. I'm awaiting the call from my nephew that our new little one is on the way. When it comes I'll be on my way over to their house to stay with "The Divine Miss M." What fun!
Still snowing here, expected to go on all day. Can't complain, because the reflection makes the house really cheery. The fact that I don't need to go anywhere makes it nice also. DH won't bother getting out the snow blower until it stops.
Isn't it amazing how just a few days of super activity can really make you appreciate a quiet day? I'm wading through our stack of 100s of movies to decide which ones need to be on the hard drive next to TV. DH refuses to toss any, but has conceded that, once they are copied to the drive, they can be put in paper sleeves instead of plastic cases. This will free up a lot of shelf space.

LOL...now there's a concession! Inches kiddo...inches!
We got about an inch of fresh snow last night and the sun was out in a bright blue sky about 2 hours ago.
Forty degrees sounds springlike. It is 19 here and that is about our high for today.

all the leaves are brown
and the sky is grey

Dallas fans in your "neck of the woods"?
Who knew?
Our extended family are total Cowboy fans so they would fit in well with our crowd.
