topic on this board, but it is an unusual occurance in my part of the country. We are forecast for more snow today. It won't be a lot, but to me it is remarkable that this will be the third time this month and another chance on New Year's Eve. We still have some remaining from Christmas eve that has not melted. It will be interesting to see what the rest of this winter brings.

I'm hearing from people in placed that haven't had snow in decades getting it this year. Enjoy it while you can. We haven't had any to speak of yet this winter but wait until April/May (lol).

Melissa you must be northern Texas. Extreme North Georgia is getting some snow. Not unusual this time of year. We are getting some cold temps and they are talking rain. I love snow, but it better happen on my days off. Are you all prepared for a lot of snow? I think our town has one salt truck with a plow..lol.

Please be careful. Keep us updated.

I always do a double take when I hear on TV that it's snowing in Texas.

The snow started about two in the afternoon. It was big wet flakes that accumulated on the grass and plants. The roads were too warm, so driving was not a problem. Shirley, I do live in north Texas and while we have road crews that can deal with ice, we do not have snow plow equipment. Their best shot is pretreating the roads and bridges
