A Toast to the New Year (2010)!
| Thu, 12-31-2009 - 11:19am |
Sometime today, tonight, or tomorrow morning would you please post in this string your toast to your fellow ladybugs for the New Year?
It has been many years (the old board format!!) since we have done this and maybe this year-end is a good time to do it once again!
I'm working on my toast, and will be back later to post it...........

You are loved ~~ far more than you may ever know!

I consider myself blessed to be a part of this wonderful Friendship Garden of ours. Although we come from different walks of life and different parts of the world, we are truly sisters in our hearts. I truly believe that we were each "led" here to be a blessing to one another.
Some of you I have actually met in real life, some of you I know only from our visits here in our Garden, but my life certainly would not be the same if it were not for you wonderful, crazy, witty, loving and caring Ladybugs!! I bless the day that I found this Garden of ours and am grateful always that I know you all.
My toast to you all: May the friendships we have forged here in our Friendship Garden live forever in our hearts. And may the year of 2010 be a blessed one for us all.
Cherokee Prayer Blessing
May the Warm Winds of Heaven
Blow softly upon your house.
May the Great Spirit
Bless all who enter there.
May your Mocassins
Make happy tracks
in many snows,
and may the Rainbow
Always touch your shoulder.
My wish for all of you....
I didn't write it, but wished I had. It says everything I would say.
A New Year is a special time,
And I pray yours will be blessed.
May each new day bring happiness,
And everything's that's best.
I wish for you God's gifts of love,
Joy and hope each day.
That you will feel His presence,
Every step of the way.
A new beginning filled with love,
Is also wished today.
Because you are a special friend,
In every kind of way.
I look forward to the days ahead,
Spending time with friends too.
It doesn't matter whether old or new,
What matters is friends like you.
Happy New Year to all of you! May 2010 be a SAFE and happy year for all of us.
I've been listening to Susan Boyle's CD alot. My DD gave it to me as her Christmas gift and I love it!! She is my inspiration and I admire her so. Her song "Who I Was Born To Be" is going to be my special message for the new year. I can do and be anything I chose to be!
Best wishes to all!
I was here earlier and saw this thread and thought and thought and just couldn't get the things in my heart out and onto this page.

I have loved reading all these responses, but Pam, what you said (both your own words, as well as the passage from the book) has truly touched my heart.
Like Katie, I have always felt that I was "led" here somehow.
A little late here, but this is the song I play the beginning of each new year -

I love that song.
