A strange night.......

First, thanks for all the advice and feel-better-wishes and cyber hugs yesterday, when my back was spazzing (love that word, Melissa!). I was all better by last night. That new Tylenol (8-hour, muscle aches and pain formula) is good stuff!
So...I could NOT fall asleep last night and I have no idea why. I didn't do anything or eat or drink anything out of the ordinary (no caffeine, etc.), but I just felt "wired." I don't think it was the Tylenol because I've taken it several times before and it's never kept me awake. Anyway....last night I tossed and turned until 1:00, then finally got out of bed and came downstairs and watched TV, played a computer game and surfed the internet. 2:00 came, then 3:00, then 4, then 5. And I was still WIDE AWAKE! At 5:45, I finally gave up on sleeping for the night, and made a pot of coffee. When DH got up (around 6:30), I showered, got dressed, and was at the grocery store by 7:30, doing my shopping. Came home, did a few things around the house, ate lunch, and I'm STILL not really sleepy! But I'm beginning to feel "punchy," so I think I'll go upstairs and lie down and see if I can sleep for a couple of hours.
This is nuts....I NEVER have trouble sleeping. Last night was the first time I've "pulled an all-nighter" since I was in college!
Okay, girls, I'll see you later, HOPEFULLY after a little nap!
Meanwhile, enjoy your NYE and stay safe!
Hugs....love you gals!

It must have been the influence of the Blue Moon which will be at its
"Welcome to my world!".
Always a smart-alek, huh?
Hope this was just a one-night-fluke, BB.
Sweet dreams for tonight.
(you've had a rough couple of days!!)
Hi BB,
I'm happy that you feel better, but gosh, up all night!! I can't remember the last time I could not go to sleep. Hope you got that nap.
Hugs,
Melissa
Holy melatonin! BB that was a long night for sure. I hate nights like that. Hope you are not having any serious problems. Maybe it's just the weather or the excitement of the holidays just now hitting you.
I keep Melatonin just incase I have a problem sleeping. It works beautifully for me. I love when I can sleep all night long.
I hope you get straight on your sleep today. Boy it's a yucky enough day to stay in and sleep.
(((hugs)))
............
Melatonin is my nightly friend. I found a brand that is time released and takes care of the middle of the night potty break where I sit on an ice cold seat & wake right up - LOL. I take it about 20 mins before bedtime, then I can fall asleep before DH starts snoring. BTW - he snores so bad sometimes that our cat jumps up & leaves the room - LOL.

Oh goodness...that's just not a good thing. Were you able to nap today? At least my lack of sleep the last 2 nights was because of a 3 year old cuddling up to me. (She's a much better sleeper than her Daddy used to be at that age...he was a kicker.) I'm with Katie, I think maybe it has something to do with the Blue Moon. I know the full moon wreaks havoc on me...makes me feel jumpy and out of sorts.
I know I've missed a lot the last couple of days...what happened to your back Sis? I hope you're better today.
(I see we picked the same NY siggies...duh)
I looked all over for this post, since you left me with that teaser the other day!
Oh no! Could it be?
Shari, that is a GORGEOUS siggie!!!
I'm back on track with my sleep now, thanks.
Jacquie, what brand of melatonin do you buy?
I'm like you.....if I'm asleep BEFORE DH falls asleep, all is well, but if he goes to sleep FIRST, I'm doomed because of his awful snoring.
