RIGHT. But there are times...... years ago when I had little kids...they rarely got sick (until they went to school) and I could count on my 10 fingers the number of times 5 kids went to the doctor in their life...at home I mean....now is different. And I always said that the people that took their kids to the doctor for every little thing were doing them harm not good by not letting them get toughend up.....Well......

Now for a big thing that went on today on the radio and in the stores....
Tonight at midnight we finish the first 9 years of the 21st century. We have not had a decade yet till 10 years have passed and that won't be till the end of 2010.
10 does not start with 0 it starts with 1......so 2000 was not the beginning it was the end of the 20th....
Most of the people agreed that, that was right but they didn't understand it.....geech.......lol

Retired and lovin'it.

Janet they have always said that kids couldn't fight off anything because of being given antibiotics so quickly. Their immune system just doesn't kick in anymore. My Mom had 6 kids and I can count on one hand the times we went to the doctor. In fact, I personally remember being 15 years old and going to the doctor for the first time with a horrible earache. That was the only time before getting married.
I do agree the year 2010 has to be completed before we can honestly say we have finished a whole decade of the 21st century. Just like birthdays you think?
