the predicted snow storm, that is. Back from workout, fridge stocked, car filled with gas, plenty of projects & movies. Making turkey pot pie with reduced fat crescent roll for dough with the last of the New Years Day turkey. Will bake applesauce oatmeal bread at the same time. Just call me Martha :)

As I used reduced fat crescent roll dough for the top, do the holes marking the roll sections count as garnish? DH liked it better than when I use biscuit dough. Fine with me, no rolling, just banged the tube on the counter until it opened, unrolled the dough & laid it on top. The bread has both nutmeg & cinnamon and has made the house smell so homey.

That white stuff started at 4am, just as predicted. I don't know hoe much we will get but it is supposed to continue until tomorrow morning.

It is a good day to stay in and bake but I have a doctor appointment that will cut my day in half. I hope the cabs are on schedule today; I ordered one yesterday for today.
