Somehow the bobbin case didn't make it back with the sewing machine. I called the one sewing store (DD told me later these are nasty people) who said that I had to bring in my machine because it was obsolete. Of course, it's a Signature and over 30 yrs old. He just wanted to sell me a new one. I went to Joann's and they had one that looked like the old one. It just had a number on it not what kind of machine it fit. It is too small. So I went digging into my boxes to see if I could find the instructions and maybe the right size. I did about 1/2 the boxes and gave up. My friend sent me two links to download instructions and see if the part # is given. We went to DD's for dinner and I haven't looked yet.
I've used fabric glue before and it works wonders. I just wanted something to do.
The undertaker has a community party each year. He is a customer. When he has someone lying in state he keeps his porch lights on until that are moved to their final resting place. I thought that was nice.
Today is laundry day. I've a few things I can do around the house, like sweep. Then I'll finish a very strange book that is very thought provoking. It's called "The Little Book."
This week I'm to get my first social security check. There really isn't anybody I could ask if I should take it now or wait a bit longer. So I signed up and more Medicare, although that really scares me. The lady was very helpful and I only signed up for doctor visits as the extra. Although instead of $500 a year, I'll be paying over $100 a month for that service. By paying cash I could at least get all the care I needed and not be limited by what the government says I can have.
It would be a nice drive if I have to go to Canada or Mexico for extra care. Hopefully that won't happen.
Ihad more than 80 new people that told me to call them after Jan. Several old customers said the same. Now many are saying call next month. I think business will pick up.
Have a wonderful afternoon.

That is an idea you never know what you will find on the internet I would just go to Google and put
Have a nice day !.
I hope you're able to find a bobbin for your machine, Karen.
I just remembered a friend of mine talking about Stitch Witchery, are you familiar with it?
Karen I think getting on SS early is one of the best decisions for you.
