Mornin' Girls,
Last night aroud 9 pm Princess and I heard a VERY loud noise. It sounded as though a car had run into our garage door. I checked it out and all seemed normal. This morning as DH & Princess were leaving for school/work the garage door would not open with the opener nor could it be lifted by hand. Hmmmm. DH thinks perhaps a "spring has sprung" since there is no visual damage. He is calling a repair place today - hopefully they can come soon as we can't get my car out of the garage.
We (dh & I) are both sporting miserable colds. I had it a couple of weeks ago, then dh got it, now he has given it back to me. I've been "Lysoling" everything but to no avail, except that Princess is fine. Dh was in bed all weekend and I expect he'll only stay at work a couple of hours. I don't feel AWFUL, but I don't feel good, either. I don't seem to be affected by this quite as much as dh. I've got a group of women coming for dinner on Thurs, so I've got to get over this quickly.
I hope everyone's weather is improving.
BTW, if you've not seen the update on my Sister in the prayer folder, please check it out. I consider this good news.
Thank you, Thank you, for your prayers and concern.
Me & my Kleenex Box are outta here!

Deb I hope the repair man shows up quickly. The cold affects a lot of stuff mechanical.
I'm sure your DH is right about the garage door spring. I had the same thing happen here a couple years ago but it happened while I was opening the door. You're right...the BANG is LOUD! I was just thankful the spring didn't hit either me or my car when it broke here. It scared the living daylights out of me though!!
Sounds like we're headed out of the deep freeze too! Ya-hoooo!!!! We might even see 40* by the end of the week. It will be the first time we've been above freezing since Dec. 27th. It's about darn time...this has been horrible.
So sorry both you and DH are suffering from the yuck-phooies. Hope you're back on your feet soon. You DO know that men get everything much worse than we do right? (wink, wink)
Hugs,
Did you 'bout jump out of your skin when that thing went bang, Deb?!
Deb,
do you do the Coldeze?
