Long 'catch up' post......

I started at the bottom of the trellis here in our Garden and worked my way up it...adding comments (in notepad) to everyone who posted as I climbed so I could just post them all at once!   You'll find my response to some of you are from several posts that you had made!

It took me forever to climb the trellis since I have not been here since Tuesday! So, here goes...

BB - Wow! Two pair of those socks for free!!  BTW, you didn't say (or I just missed seeing it!) which 'style' of that brand of sock to you usually get?  I'm thinking they might be what I need to make walking easier for me.  My feet seem to realy feel the 'ridges' that are in most socks...and I cannot bear to go without socks!    So, Deb's lasagna is a keeper recipe, eh?!  Great...now you've gone and made me hungry for it!  Hmmmmm, wonder if I have the necessary ingredients to make some?!

Pat - glad you are feeling better, and I pray that will continue! Your numb ear may regain its feeling...nerves very often will regenerate. But you are right - earrings should no longer hurt it!!!  Love that attitude, ladybug!

Shari - Corvette cruise?! In this weather?!!!  Hope your 'vette has a good heater!!  So your DH is the "leader" , eh?!!    Did you have any trouble falling asleep Wednesday night?!!  So, Shari, was your cable guy as cute and friendly as mine was?!!

Janet - I can't say if the cable guy is anything like a pool guy or not....never having had any need for a pool guy!!!  My DS has a cable converter box and a small HD TV....he loves the quality of the picture he gets on it!  He does not have cable or dish....just public 'via-the-air' TV though!   Did you ever get that N1N1 shot?

Joan - sure wish we had some of that nice warm air you are getting!  Did you get the ankle brace?  I have one that I use from time to time - the broken heal bone gets to hurting pretty bad in messy weather - and I love it.  I sure hope that the packs of dogs in your area (both canine and human!) are caught and gotten rid of by the cops!

Deb - hope your family is finally recovering from that cold!  How did your W2W meeting go?  Your menu sounded great!  I just got to your "woo hoo" message!  What wonderful news, Deb.  Your whole family must be breaking out in ear-to-ear smiles!  The Lord does fantastic work!!!

Julie - If you can plan a chunk of time for next fall think about joining the Ladybugs at our annual BugFest.  We don't all go every time, but there is always anywhere from 7 to 18 of us who gather somewhere in the US for about 5 days.  Details will be posted on the board when the planning gets underways for the next one!

Jacquie - it must have been really difficult for your DS to hear about the Haiti earthquake and have no clue how those he knew were doing.  I am so glad he was finally able to get word of them, and that you fianlly heard that 'his' school's students and teacher were not harmed.

Karen - I hope that your recent sales are truly an indicator that your business will indeed continue to pick up!  Sewing yet?!!

Jackie - Sun....you had some sunshine?!!  Well, to be honest we did too - for a while yesterday. None today though!  I hope that Sarah's leg numbness is nothing serious - please let us know what they find out.

Blu - I am so very pleased for you that you now are in the proud possession of your "family" plate number!  Yes, it might sound silly to some, but -trust me gal- not to your ladybug friends!

Ellen - president of your women's group at your church!?!  How Kewl is that!!  How did your first meeting go?  Wow, you and Melissa are gonna see Josh Turner?  He is a doll and I love his voice.  I just loved his song, " Would You Go With Me "

Kathey - I hope by now your temps have climbed above freezing and you can get to the local store without rolling yourself there 'cause you are so bundled up!!  that was quite a vivid picture you painted!

Our temp today has climbed up to 32º only!  It actually reached up to around 36º yesterday....lots of the drive and sidewalks stuff has melted!

I've had a headache / shoulder ache for several days now.  I think it may have been migraine related.  I went Thursday to my chiropractor and Friday to my massage therapist and I am finally hurting less!

Our VD meeting went pretty much as planned Wednesday.  It seems we may have gotten our applications all in (for this year's event) ahead of the 'new' budget that may end up charging so much for the use of the local parks - if the "parks & recreation department" gets its way!   What a bunch of dummies - wanting to charge those of us who are bringing money into the community and practically giving away the park use to baseball teams!  Arghhh!  Our committe chairperson is very vocal and a member of the committee that will make the final decision. The mayor is on our side, but it is something that will be voted on by others, so.........

My lunch with the gals from my graduating class last Tuesday was fun!  There were 9 of us there. We'll meet the next time in the middle of February. It'll take me a few of the lunches before I can decide if it is something I want to continue with or not, but I'm thinking I will!

You are loved ~~ far more than you may ever know!

Hi Katie -
Wish I was there and could vote FOR VD.
What a great event for your community.
I can't understand why some of them don't "get it"???!!

I think lunch with the gals from highschool sounds like great fun.
