my car started to over heat. Steam was coming out under the hood so I pulled over at a church parking lot where a sheriff's deputy was parked. He got out of his car to see what the problem was. As soon as I got out, I opened the hood and what a mess! So, I called Russ who is a mechanic and he didnt answer so I called Sarah to come take me to town to DHs shop. In the meantime, Russ called me back and came right over. The sheriff's deputy left then and I thanked him for his concern although he really didnt do much. The good news is that a coupling that connects the heater hose to the engine was broke so Sarah took me to town to get the part and Russ put it in. A $4.51 fix! Yea! What a way to start the day. lol
This morning I am going to the big town to look at a building of glassware that I found on our local sales website. Hopefully, I'll get some good deals. I havent been doing much selling since the holidays and I really need some inventory. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Will let you know what I find.
Hugs, Jackie

So glad
Jackie, you are so lucky to have a mechanic in the family!
Hope you found some good items today!
Jackie the same thing happened to me on the way home. But my gauge didn't tell me I was running hot. Good thing I am only 3 miles from work. But it was the same hose! Now my dh just trimmed mine and hooked it back up..lol. He saved that $1.
