Still around but keeping a low profile

Donna is still around, but I'm keeping a low profile here in the garden. I had some very rough driving this week, but made it to the nursing home my scheduled days.   I'm taking advantage of the storm and trying to get somewhat caught up at the shop. I have some reports that must be sent off electronically and I'm getting those sent off while we still have electricity.  We still have power although most of the people in rural areas are without lights.  We have no water at the shop, so I have go home and make my pit stops.  LOL   Just into North Dakota, the storm is very bad.  Tomorrow the winds will start again and we'll all be socked in. The guys are busy getting generators hooked up in case of power failure at the shop to keep the furnace running.  It's a coal burner and heats with hot water.  We can't let the pipes freeze.  They are also trying to rig up something here  at the house so we can run the furnace. Luckily the temps are mild with this storm 20's and 30's.   The grocery store in town is pretty well out of milk, bread.   I'm not heading down to the nursing home until Tues and by then this storm will have blown over we should have water at the shop and life will continue.
