Hello Ladybugs! Reporting from soggy So CA...today we have blue skies, sunshine and a break from all that rain. I have never seen so much rain day in and day out all of last week. Thankfully we're I'm at, we're relatively unscathed. No mudslides to worry about, no tornado although one did touched down 25 miles from us! Holey moley toledo..we're getting a break this week end but another weak storm is coming Tuesday night...sigh...So I took advantage of that bright sunny day outside and took Baxter for a good walk. He was loving that since the poor puppy has been scooped up inside the house all this time. He was sniffling at every blade of grass, tweed, anything on the ground girl..LOL..that puppy was having a blast during our walk. Dh and I are planning to have lunch at our favorite Japanese place where they cook in front of you and we're headed to see the movie Legion. It's our date since dh just found out yesterday that he's headed for Hawaii again for 2 weeks leaving Monday..Awww..wish I could go but off to work I go and he's there for work too but I'd rather be in Hawaii working, wouldn't anyone? We're trying to schedule a vaca this Thanksgiving over there with the kids...
Other than that, nothing's going on in my corner. I did manage to pop in now and then in the garden and replied to some posts. Sometimes mundane things are good..Had my OB-GYN appointment and all's good. Trying to schedule all my doctor's appointments for the next month or so and get it out of the way. Mammo, eye apppointment, physical, dentist, etc..all that good stuff.
I better get ready for our date. Ladybugs, stay safe, warm and dry......enjoy your Saturday!

Let's hope the next storm is not as big or long-lasting as the previous.
Enjoy your date.
"Aloha" to your DH.
Hi Deb, how are you,
Glad to hear you came through the storms unscathed. Sure did look bad out there. I was keeping tabs on lots of friends and family out there.
Falcon I had been watching California in the news. I didn't know how close all that was happening to you.
I've thought about you a lot over the past few days, wondering just how close you are to the mudslides and such.
Blu, love your avatar, it's so wintery all white and pretty but it looks cold...LOL...hope your friends and family out here are okay. Orange County seems to be the one getting the brunt of the storms.
Shirley, Baxter sure had a great time today, he was happy to be out and walking and it was so nice with sunshine and blue skies but a little nippy...Dh and I had a great date today.
Hey girl, how are you? I don't have much time in the mornings to visit the garden and by the time I come home from work, eat dinner, it's time for bed..LOL..but the garden is never far from my mind and thoughts..talking about houses on the cliff, houses should not be built on those cliffs but oh well, it is what it is..so sad to see the houses though..and people keep rebuilding them at the same spot.
I'm doing well, Falcon, thanks for asking.
I have to agree with you about those mansions that are built on a cliff.
My cousin lives in Escondido but I haven't heard too much from there. Sure sounded like LaCanada Flintridge got nailed. A good friend of mine lives up in No. CA and they've gotten hit hard too. The surf is amazing!
So glad you finally saw the sun and had a nice walk with Baxter.
My avatar looks like my back yard with the cardinals in the bushes after a new snow. Yes, cold.
