Happy February to you, too!
Good Morning and happy February everyone!
This is Becky from Montana. I keep meaning to get here, but life seem to get in the way.
On Wednesday I have a meeting to go to in Great Falls which means I will be driving for a few hours. So I'm watching the weather closely. Some of you in the southeast have been watching it, too. What weird weather you're having.
Tomorrow I'm hosting a Ground Hog day party at my house. A loosely knit group of GFs called the Creek Water Girls will attend...weather permitting for this, too.
Here's hoping we have a great month ahead of us!
I is here......
Shirley Sue here from the unusually cold state of Georgia. February is really when we stand a chance of getting that "S" word. So we don't plan a whole lot.
We'll have a new birthday in February around the 16th. DD is due around then.
Around the 11th I am planning on getting together with some old high school friends. It's been about 40 years since I have seen a lot of them.
Valentine's day, we don't do much of nothing. Unless it falls on my day off or something.
Just going to hang in here and try to stay warm.
(((hugs))
.........
What fun it must be to be a Creek Water Girl!
Not a whole lot going on this month, but that's ok with me.
Lunch with a friend on Wed.
Valentine W2W Party on Fri (2/5)
Probably a quick trip to Tulsa at some point
** But, biggest and BEST of all,
Cancer free for 28 years as of Feb. 15th!!
Awesome Deb! Twenty-eight years cancer free!!!! I guess I didn't even know you had had cancer.
Hugs,
Hey Bex...SO happy to see you here!! Sure wish you'd pop in more often, I really miss you and your wonderful sense of humor. Hope all is well.
Hi all...Blu from No. IL here...six weeks until daylight savings!!! There is light at the end of the tunnel...and it's not a train!!!!!
Not much going on here this month. Am looking forward to the Super Bowl followed by the Olympics and then, of course, "Singles Awareness Day" on the 14th and the perpetual job search. We'll probably get bombarded by a few more snowstorms along the way...I don't think Mother Nature is done with us yet...but I've had quite enough of winter this year.
Hey Blu
What are you up to these days besides reuniting with former roomies?
I don't work in the winter and the other week I filed for unemployment for the first time ever. I am so excited...Finally I'll get a little back $$$...I think (hope)...
The horses are well although I did lose two last winter...my dear old Thunder (45) and Cisco (37)...So far so goo this year though...How is your big bird?
I'll be watching the Ill. elections today as they will be the big news...
