Good morning. I'm headed for the shower, but thought I'd say "Hey" first. Today is our 38th anniversary. DH is at his little job, but will be home soon, so I'm getting ready for him. I've made him his favorite cake and will fix his favorite pork chops with a side of risotto, shiitake mushrooms and spinach. Gotta keep the old fella happy! I had lunch with some girls on Wednesday at a little place that was just around the corner from where DH and I had our first date almost 40 years ago. It was a blind date, so he took me to a very dark pool hall, just incase I was a dog. LOL We've been together ever since, so he must have approved.
I went on a shopping spree yesterday in the snowstorm. Just had to get out of the house! I bought new dishes that will stay in the packing until we get to our new home. DH was surprised that I did that, but he likes them. I also found a cute polka-dotted pair of flips! Talk about having a positive attitude! LOL We've got lots and lots of snow again and it's still snowing, but pretty. Not going anywhere today that I know of and I'm warm for a change, so that's okay. I hope you all have a wonderful Friday and great weekend! Go Angels!!!
