Good morning. I'm headed for the shower, but thought I'd say "Hey" first. Today is our 38th anniversary. DH is at his little job, but will be home soon, so I'm getting ready for him. I've made him his favorite cake and will fix his favorite pork chops with a side of risotto, shiitake mushrooms and spinach. Gotta keep the old fella happy! I had lunch with some girls on Wednesday at a little place that was just around the corner from where DH and I had our first date almost 40 years ago. It was a blind date, so he took me to a very dark pool hall, just incase I was a dog. LOL We've been together ever since, so he must have approved.
I went on a shopping spree yesterday in the snowstorm. Just had to get out of the house! I bought new dishes that will stay in the packing until we get to our new home. DH was surprised that I did that, but he likes them. I also found a cute polka-dotted pair of flips! Talk about having a positive attitude! LOL We've got lots and lots of snow again and it's still snowing, but pretty. Not going anywhere today that I know of and I'm warm for a change, so that's okay. I hope you all have a wonderful Friday and great weekend! Go Angels!!!

Happy Anniversary!!!!!!!
Your supper sounds so good but then you probably don't want company do you...I could be there by supper time easy....
We probably got about 5" of snow no wind. So I am doing like New York today and saying we could have had it bad but I am glad it is somewhere else besides here.
Did I tell you that last month when I had to go to Omaha to the doctor, some friends took us so we went in the looog way... down to Dodge to UNMC. When we went home they wanted to run to Columbus so we went out the same way. They took us to lunch at the .......Rats....I forgot what it was called....something about Paridise Burgers or something....anyway I had a Salad with Grilled Chicken and I think it was the best salad I have ever eaten out. And Raspberry tea....What is so funny about that is until a couple years ago you wouldn't have gotten me to touch anything with those berries in it....LOL.....funny how we change when we get older. I even eat spinach now....but not out of a can......plain.....lol that is still yucky.....
Stay warm....
Retired and lovin'it.
