Good ? Morning ladybugs, we really got it and are still getting it-THE BLIZZARD. I heard the winds howling all night, then around 3 am we lost our power. I am up briefly but will probably crawl under the covers to keep warm, I had a bowl of Cheerios and tried to have a cup of coffee using instant coffee with water from my hot water dispenser/blah!
I hope they get the power fixed very soon. Glad I hace my BlackBerry! Plz excuse typos! Eyes are having trouble adjusting this am

Well lets just say because I don't like to see Ladybugs in pain...but I do feel your pain. And there is no way to say this but we only got about 5" or so inches no snow, so I am a happy bug in Nebr.....lol

But did you happen to see NYC and their news this morning...it was so funny. They wanted to be nice about it, kind of but it was like they were really saying....
"The snow stops about 10 miles south of us WHOOPIE,,GREAT DAY WE ARE NOT GOING TO GET THAT BLIZZARD THAT THEY ARE GETTING IN TOMS RIVER, YEAH"........Don't tell me that weather people don't like bad weather they lie if they say they don't. You can hear it in their voices they get giddy with excitement. Just watch the weather channel, their concern for the blizzard is so fake.....lol
Power outages while rare but not unheard of here is the exact reason I have have not followed the crowds that had to go all electric..a few years ago, when we were without power for 3 days in late 2006 I have my gas oven. And because I had to use things up I baked some things and put a big roast in the oven so I could keep it going. Kept oil in the hurricane lamps. Del was on the town board and fire department so they got a generator going to put on the water pump so we had water and I didn't have to go to the garage to use a bucket....lol....
If we would have had our comforter then and if we wouldn't have been worried about pipes we could have just stayed in bed for 3 days. lol....

Hang in there if you don't get 5 weeks of below 0 temps to go along with this you will be doing great....
Cover up.....

Shari, been listening to the weather and heard you all really got hit hard. It's 7pm and it's just now leaving the east coast. I hope you get your power back. That has to be really scary

Oh dear...it's about 7:30 your time...I hope you have power by now. I've been following the storm on TWC so I know you're getting slammed. I haven't been in touch with my niece in DC yet but I'm sure she's snowed in too. Heck, that city stops everything if they have frost!

Take care, stay warm and please update us when you can.
