Unfortunately, lack of sleep and long driving days tire me out. I've been helping DD who said that the delivery is expected to go well. She has til the first week of May.
I've been digging through boxes again. I think I'll just rewrap and repack just to see what I have. lol I've been looking for my sewing manual and some puzzles.
The 750 puzzle of 100 cats and one fish was easier than the 100 dogs and one cat. Of course, I've been reading a lot. And chasing cats with water bottles.
Last night I put DS's two cats in his room lured by treats. Then Sophie ran into the bedroom so she got hers. I put down her food and realized that I forgot to clean the litter box, so I got the bag and the scoop and didn't totally close the door. So she decided to go and see what was changed in DS's room since we had been moving furniture. Unfortunately, the other two cats were watching. As I tried to prevent Maxine to getting by, Gage did. He wanted to say HI to Sophie and she was having none of it. So I held him back and told her to go into the bedroom. She deecided to head for under the sofa with Maxine on her heels. More treats, locking Gage in one bedroom, tossing some over the railing to the lower level where Maxine had headed, and some for Sophie in the bedroom. All that took 15 minutes. I think we all settled down. I read for about 10 min and called it quits.
Everybody is healthy and wise. I cannot say wealthy. One of my customers told me that her customers said that they were holding onto their money because they were afraid of what the government was going to do next. Same old thing.
If I were a nurse, I could change jobs. lol That was one of my sisters area of expertise. Secretary, nurse and teacher was all that we were encouraged to be in my day, and I'm sure in many of yours.
Have a wonderful day tomorrow. I really mean to do better, but time is getting away from me.
Hugs,
K

Karen have you looked into being a substitute teacher?
That is some complicated "kitty maneuvering" you did.
Karen, it sounds as if you and the three purrbabies had so much fun!
Wow....talk about "herding cats."....lol.
