Preparing for the Nor'easter

Hi Ladybugs. This has been a crazy day. Since we have been staying at our friends' house I had a lot to do to catch up at home I had to call the plumber because..no not for frozen pipes, but the little hose on the faucet was broken. Waited for him and he actually got here before noon. Laundry had piled up, so I worked on that. When he got here he said I need a new faucet and it has to be ordered. He thinks he will be able to install it tomorrow--weather permitting. That means no water in the kitchen. I've filled a dishpan with water and have several pitchers full of water to use in there...always something!!!
Food had to be thrown out of the fridge, so I went to the grocery store and it was just about empty! I saw about 20 people I knew, so of course, stopped to chat, so that errand took about an hour and a half. The main roads are pretty good , but the side roads are bad. School has been called off until next Tuesday..
Now we are expecting the 1-2 punch of a Nor'easter...that means lots of wind and snow. I sure hope we don't lose electricity again! I told our friends not to change the sheets!
Sorry I haven't spent much time here today, but just playing catch-up has kept me busy. Now I'm fixing some tacos for dinner....so will hopefully get to check back later..
Kt, I see that you are talking about SNOW, too! Supposedly 50% of the country is expecting it!!! Yikes!
Stay safe, Ladybugs!

Oh My.
I can understand that you would be busy.
Praying you can keep your electricity so you can stay in your own home.
Shari it's amazing how much work is created by not having electricity for 3 or 4 days. I hope you get everything needed for the next storm heading your way. Or hopefully, it misses you with the severity as the last one.
