A nice snowy afternoon

I decided to stay home today and make calls because we were scheduled for a bad storm.  It has started. Right now show is lightly sticking to the trees but not yet on the roads.

I did drive over to the fabric store and picked up some sale material. DD had given me several patterns for the girls.  I got a doll pattern.  When I used to sew for DD I'd get slightly more material and make her doll something too.

The last 3 weeks have not been good. I'm am so over "when the economy gets better" or 'I'm hanging onto my money til I see what the government is going to do."  Nov. can't get here fast enough for me.  Maybe I shouldn't say that.  The government can always fail.

Today Sophie went into DS's bedroom. Gage was on the bed and just watched her walk around.  Yes! The water bottles help! It's funny.  All we have to do is rumple a bad and all theree cats head for the bedrooms! They think it's treat time.

Time to go make some chilli.  I found my receipes but I'm not allowed to cook much.  Maybe I'll make some peanut butter or snickerdoodle cookies tomorrow.  Sun. I'll be at DD's most of the day.  She is doing OK because she is very careful.  We all help as much as possible.

Have a great evening.  I hope your weather soon becomes nicer.

Stay safe and hugs,

"I found my receipes but I'm not allowed to cook much."

Not allowed to cook?
What's that about?

I can't remember the last time I had a "Snickerdoodle" and that sure sounds good.

Deb, I'm more of a guest of DS & R instead of living here.
