Peeping Tom

Last night around 8 pm we had a peeping tom.  Maxine went flying to the doors that lead to the deck.  When I looked out, sitting on the top step of the high deck, I saw two green eyes looking at me.  I guess he really was a tom but at least he had four legs and fur. lol

I got to play in the snow today.  DS took my car, he has a truck, to an apt.  I actually have a scraper for ice and snow.  I had to use some water to open the doors, but I got to clean off most of the car.  It was fun!

OK, I'm enjoying the sunlight on all the snow covered branches.  It is OK for it to start melting now.

I've some things planned while I'm home alone.  Have a wonderful day and stay safe.

Hugs,

K

Ah, loved your "peeping tom" story, Karen!! Some poor "Southern" kitty freezing his/her tush off out there in that white stuff and dreaming of joining your kitties inside where it was toasty warm!!

Hi Karen,

Enjoyed your peeping "tom". I have two inside/outside cats and numerous barn cats. Every once in a while, I will hear this horrible screeching like someone is being killed. It is my youngest, Mitzi, sitting in the window yowling at one of the poor outdoor cats while they are sitting out there wondering what is going on.

I hope you and everyone else back there are finished with the snow soon. Any that Washington has is in the mountains. We haven't had any stick on the ground for more than a day all winter. We are having rain instead with highs in the 40s.

Have a great weekend.

OHHHHH, "that" Tom!
I was all perked up and expecting some frightening tale, but it turned out to actually be a TOM with a tail.

Hi BB,

Thanks for asking but nothing much going on in my life. In fact, I am in a real rut. I go to work, come home and feed my critters, read the paper and watch a couple of shows and am in bed reading between 8 and 8:30 with the lights out by 9. I very rarely get on the computer at night after work. Sometimes on the weekends I get in a communicative mood, but not too often. I think I need a life change.

Things are going on at work but it doesn't feel right to complain about them with so many people without a job at all. It isn't anything that will jeopardize my employment - I just feel like I am being manipulated because I enjoy working and am always accepting new duties so that I can stay busy.

I need to get moving and exercise so that I can lose the 20-25 lb that I have put on over the last couple of years, plus tighten up the saggy spots. I just haven't managed to get mind over matter yet. I know I would feel better if I started that.

Just this week, two ladies at work lost their husbands to illness and another one lost her battle with leukemia. She was only 64.

Other than that, my family is healthy and we have no snow for the first winter in my life. Seems so strange - Texas and Georgia and all points in between with snow and Idaho and Washington with none except for the mountains!

Have a good weekend.

Ellen
