Hi Ladybugs, Happy Saturday to you!
I'm full of spots today! No, I don't have chicken pox or shingles. Those years of growing up close to the beach and spending vacations on the beach have caught up with me, so yesterday I had a Photofacial. My dermatologist recommended it, so thought I'd give it a try. Here's what happens. She used a laser for about 5 min. It was painful, but not unbearable. Afterwards I turned red and it felt like a bad sunburn for about 1 hr. My face was still just a little red when I went to bed last night. This morning, my face is covered with dark (sun) spots. The Photofacial brings to the surface of the skin all of the dark spots and any precancerous cells. In a few days these will all start to exfoliate and then my skin will be as clear as a 20 yr old... Well, maybe not that young.....lol
Now let's hope that my concealer works well because tonight we're going to the Autism Ball. She said it was ok to wear concealer, foundation, etc. Maybe it'll be dark in there and no one will notice. Ah vanity!
So, just thought I'd tell you about this little adventure in my life. Hope you have a great day!

Now, that is interesting, Shari, thanks for telling us about it.
I am like Forrest Gump......ugly is as ugly does I would prefer to have a 20 year old body and wear a hat......lol.....no on second thought forget the hat....if I could move and feel good I don't really care if I scare the hell out of other people.....lol....
Good luck......
Good for you, Girl.
I've heard Kathy Lee Gifford talk about this on TV as she's had it done - several times I think.
I'd love to have both this procedure and the one BB had done. I have some sun spots on my face I'd love to get rid of. I bet none of it is covered by insurance is it?
