Today has been so nice. After starting off a bit chilly, we are at 50. I just got back from an hour walk with my dog through the back of my property and through a neighbor's pastures to a small lake. There must have been two dozen white swans out on the lake, as well as Canadian geese and Mallards. I followed a path up the hill back a ways so that I wouldn't spook them. It is so nice to be able to see something like that and just listen to them "talking" back and forth. There is no snow, even in the shade, but lots of standing water from all the rain. Buttercups are out and the grass is getting green. This route usually runs about three miles so I get a decent work out. It is a great way to end the weekend.
All of you have a good week.
Ellen
P.S. Posting this message has taken over half an hour from the initial message creation, editing and getting it to post. It kept locking up. Not much fun!

That sounds so nice! Buttercups and green grass???? Oh my...you're waaaaay ahead of us! We won't see that kind of action for another 2 1/2 months! Lucky you...enjoy it.
Sounds really nice there. I'm in Alabama and it has been colder this year than normal as a matter of fact they are predicting light snow monday night or tuesday. Any way where is Al Gore ????
Ellen sorry you had so much trouble posting.
Ellen, I'm glad you enjoyed your walk.

Good afternoon to all of you.
I don't seem to have time to get to the computer after work so will do it now on my lunch hour.
