Yes indeedly, March is here. Does that mean good weather is on its way??? Let's hope so.
What are your plans for March? Any celebrations? I think there are several birthdays in the Garden, Karen, for one.
We have a Florida trip coming up which I am looking forward to...other than that, just the usual.
So let's sign in--
I'm Shari from Delaware, the Small Wonder State!

Hey! We'll be in Fla. the same time!
Email me and give me your itinerary...maybe we're crossing paths.
Oh!
Congratulations Blu! I knew things had to be tough for you with no job. We are all survivors, I think...Maybe it's our age...but anyway, here's a big hug for you!!!!!
We have had so LITTLE snow this winter it's scary. There are big patches of bare ground in the tree wells. I know there is more moisture coming hopefully in the form of rain.
I love your maintenance program! I went to a beauty school to get my nails done last time...$10.00 and I pretty good job...I've never had so much fun doing that...lol. I gave the poor little girl, whose hands were literally shaking, a $10.00 tip. I normally pay $30.00 plus a tip for a variable rush rush job.
What is your new job??
Hi Kate
What is VD?
Hi Everyone
This is Becky from Montana, the Treasure State because of our rich mineral reserves.
This is a winter month for me as I live apprx. 5000 feet above sea level...but I have work to do to prepare to train two horses as soon as the ice is gone. My best horse friend, Ed, died suddenly two weeks ago and so now it is necessary to work with my other horses to get them ready for me to ride.
Spring can't come soon enough for me...lol.
Ellen here from eastern Washington. My computer is cooperating today so thought I would hop in here. Yesterday I wasn't even able to connect to the internet. I think it is computer hospital time.
Nothing much going on here in March except the end of our nonexistent winter. Sometime in the near future I will be transferring back to my old department at work. Long story that I won't bother all of you with.
I have a niece in Idaho with a birthday on the 14th, otherwise that is it.
I am waiting for it to get a bit warmer so I can start planting things. I picked up four lilacs last spring and they are now large enough to plant. I think I have places figured out for them. There will be some blackberry plants coming soon and I have primroses that I pull out of the pump house every day and put back every evening.
Happy birthday to all of you with birthdays this month.
Welcome to all of the new ladies.
Ellen
Hi Becky, good to see you here in the Garden.
Becky,
I am so sorry about the loss of your horse. Seems like our animal friend deaths are almost as hard on us as the human ones.
Ellen
