For once I was speechless

Thank you all for the birthday wishes.  Sat. afternoon I went to DD's.  Since DSIL's birthday is the day before mine, we celebrated together.  We had kabobs on the grill and played one game.  Blu, the theme was going to be 'game playing' but DS & DSIL worked later than they thought.

We got our cards and DS brought out a large wrapped gift for me. DD said that she only had this box to wrap it in.  DS said that he didn't know where I was going to hang it.  When I opened the gift, the top had scotch tape on it.  I was overwhelmed when it really was a computer moniter. They didn't wrap the other part of it.  So now I'm at my new Dell computer that has windows 7 on it, a great security system, and an updated quicken.  I couldn't believe that they did this.

Sun. I spent 11 hrs. at DD's.  I've been watching the 3 little ones when they go to church. DSIL is a reader, and the little ones one to cling to mommy and it is too hard on her.  Her mil called and was surprised when I answered. She said she had something to drop off later in the afternoon. I told her why I was there. Then she called and said she was coming at lunch time. She decided to take one of the older grands each day for 3 days.  It is her way of helping. But she is about an hour away.

I had found some scone mix from the Sticky Fingers company and we made them for our 'birthday cake.' We had apricot and raspberry. They were awesome.

Danny, tea sounds great.  One of my customers is in Decatur.  I'll let you know when I'll be visiting him next. My next dr. apt. in Atlanta won't be until July. I pushed it later.

I have my annual physical tomorrow and I'll find out if this cold has turned into a sinus infection.  At least I can talk and my energy has returned.

Have a wonderful day,

Hugs,

What a great suprise, a new computer is always so much fun.....I have 3 Dells my XP one is going to go to a DGS I will be needing a new laptop soon and I am looking forward to Windows 7.....but I do like Vista.

Have fun but remember to look away from the monitor from time to time and blink.....then get up once in a while too....so you don't cramp in the computer position......lol
