The dishwashing fairy

I got as far as making supper last night, but felt so bad with this dang cold, that I left the pots, etc. sit. Figured I'd get around to it today. I was up at 4:30 AM today, then went back to bed at 7:30 for a nap. When I got up, I found that DH was gone on some errand AND the sink was empty! I thanked him profusely and he told me it was just the "dishwashing fairy".
Now he brought my outdoor rocking chair up to the deck so I can at least sit outside & enjoy the warmer weather. Maybe soaking in some rays will help. He knows I'm itching to do some yard work, but not up to it yet.

Hi Jacquie! Sorry to hear about your cold but you are so lucky to have a dishwashing fairy. I could've used him a few times myself! lol
Maybe some time in your rocker soaking up some sun will make you feel better!
Hugs, Jackie
DH has become much more considerate with the years. Heck, if he'd been that nice in the earlier years, he would have "gotten lucky" a lot more -LOL.
Funny story about the rocker. Asked DH to bring it up, I went on the deck later and there was the chaise lounge. Then I remembered that I'd pitched the old rocker a couple of years ago. He knew what I meant :) It felt sooooo good to lean back & let the sun warm my face.

I would like the pots and pan fairy to come the dishwasher takes care of the rest...but I have to say that Del does a lot more this winter than ever before..Probably cause of the weather but he will wipe the counter and clear things off even sweep...
Over the years I used to say he could empty an ash tray and tell all his buddies that he cleaned the whole house.....lol.....no ash trays anymore...
Retired and lovin'it.
