A friend and a count police officer who lives here in town was taken to the hospital about a month ago with what the thought was a stroke..he is about 9 months younger than me. He passed away and his funeral was today. Since he also belonged to our fire department they all went to the wake last night and I thought we would go to the funeral today...well today him and the fire chief took the grass rig to the funeral...if it had been here I would have gone by myself but it was about 80 miles away..so I stayed home..
Then we are getting ready to go to Oklahoma and gathering things by the back door to put in the pick up to take to the camper when we get back.
Then today I heard on the scanner that the Elkhorn river is bank full about 2 blocks north of town and out of it's banks about a mile east of here... that means that we may have firemen up all night watching just in case...there is still a lot of snow to melt and with a week of rain.
We haven't seen the sun for almost a week.. and this is funny.....sort of..
I read the other day that they are saying that getting vite.D from the sun (not just milk and suppliments) is way more important that once thought...

I'm very sorry about your friend, Janet.
