Back from Mexico

We got back from Mexico last night.  We had great flights going down and coming back.  No problems going thru customs.   We were down there four days. Unfortunately I was still recovering from the stomach flu when we left and I  sick two days and if I had been Home...I would have been in bed.   We would go to eat and I'd have a glass of 7-up while DH would eat the meal.  I really didn't gain any weight during that trip.  LOLThe weather was very windy a couple of days and you could not go to beach as it was almost like a sand storm down there. However, there was one day we spent on the beach.  But I was cold.  I looked at everyone with their swim suits on and I was still freezing!  LOL  I must have had a fever.   The last two days I felt better.    We spent a day in the jungle and it was HOT there. We explored Mayan Ruins in Coba.   We spent another day going around the resort.  It's at least a mile long and there are lots of things to see and do.  We played miniature golf and also went in the pool which meanders a long way around along the beach.  It is about waist deep and just fun to go in even if you can not swim .  There were 15 different restaurants.  The last night we tried out a Brazilian place.  We had never eaten at one of those kind of eateries.  They brought the meat in chunks and cut off pieces for you.  Everything was in courses.  It was fun.  If I had had a couple of more days down there   the trip would have been perfect.  Flame went a long and the Mexican people loved him.  He is getting to be a world traveller now.  LOL  I have included a couple of photos.  We stayed at an all inclusive resort.  Moon Palace.  It was wonderful and everyone treated us so nice.

As we were getting on our shuttle to head to the airport a group of ND people were on board and they ended up having the some flights back home as us.  It's a small world.

I will be going to the shop to work  in a bit.  DS has guards so I'll help DH down there.

Weather sounds like it has been rough here while we have been gone! We received over an inch of rain on top of this snow.  I was expecting it(snow) be GONE, but no luck there.  The temps have been in the mid 30's, cloudy, foggy and rainy.  Spring....WHERE are YOU?

We even thought this year that maybe we should take off for the south cause we both about froze this winter....and my friends said that knowing me I would be in

Hi Donna...happy you're home and happy you're feeling better. So sorry you weren't feeling well for the first part if the trip. I had a trip to Hawaii like that. I was in the hospital with an asthma attack and bronchitis until 10:00 p.m. the night before I was leaving. I kept telling them at the ER to please let me out because I had to catch a plane. The Drs. in the ER were not happy with me. It was a horrible trip to Hawaii...my ears were in pain and by the time I got there I had to go to bed.

I'm so glad you recovered enough to at least enjoy the last couple of days of the trip. I love Mexico...it's so beautiful and fun. Can't go wrong with an all inclusive!

That pink pal of yours has more airline miles than I do!!! LOL
