Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone. I guess I will not be getting an Irish meal of shepherd's pie because my DD's don't eat ground beef, and I am not crazy about ground turkey. They probably would not eat it with turkey, anyway. I might go and buy one green cupcake. I don't know why I celebrate this day, but it has always been fun. LOL
DD2 has been accepted by four of the seven colleges to which she has applied. We are only waiting for her first choice. The good news is that she will be going to a college that she thinks she will enjoy. Keep your fingers crossed that she gets into her first choice. That's the one that I am really hoping for because she will be on campus, but she will still be nearby, about 15 minutes. Her second choice is only about an hour away.
I have been very busy lately and have not had a chance to get caught up. I will be off for a few days in April, and am looking forward tohaving some time to just relax.
If you are a newbie here, and I have not welcomed you, apologies. I am glad to see new faces here in the Garden. It is a great place to be.
Anyway, wish I could have some green beer to celebrate, but my gout won't allow it. But I will hoist a virtual toast to all of you.
Again, Happy St. Patrick's Day.
“May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be ever at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rain fall softly on your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of his hand.†An Irish Blessing
Dannie

Cheers, Dannie!
That's great news about the colleges that have responded.
Good to hear from you Dannie. I had wondered what all was going on with you.
