Flooding in the Dakotas

There is a lot of high water around the Dakotas.  Fargo of course is in the news.  Also the land around my folks is all flooded.  My brother's place was on the local news as were pictures of my grandparents house all surrounded by water.

It's cold and snowy today and that will slow the melt down.

Our snow is really down a lot.  There are lots of piles in the valleys yet.

The Missouri River is up and also the spillway in the lake behind the house is running over.  They have opened the flood gates and the water level has been rising only slowly.

I'm over my flu.  But the grands have it now.  I am not to blame as I have not seen them for several weeks.  LOL  It's a long lasting stomach flu.  Some have it for a week.  We were tested for Norwalk virus but it came back negative.

I feel good now and that is good!  This weekend it's catch up time at the shop.

DS and DDIL went to Deadwood this weekend.  They should have fun.

Donna I had been thinking of you all whenever they mentioned the Red River in the news.

The flu is a nasty ol' bug.

I'm thinking we'll have no trouble with the water.

Donna, I'm glad to hear you are feeling better.

I've been watching the Red River news.
