Sat. It was a lot of fun. He sang his hits and some new songs. Thank goodness only a couple of women decided they just had to stand up and wave their arms around and clap their hands like they were so "cool." Otherwise, I wouldn't have be able to see a thing, even the big screen over to the side of the stage. Guess most of us were too old to stand up for an hour or so concert.
Everything is fine here, but we are having some high water. Fortunately, it might affect only a few houses along the river in this town.
DH and I will take a little break in a couple of weeks. Just a couple of days, but it will be nice to "get out of town."
Hope everyone is well. Oh. A friend of DH sent us the neatest youtube movie. It's a 1942 travel talk of Minn. It shows the old Spiral bridge that was here in Hastings. Since you Ladybugs were in Minn. if you want to check it out just go to YouTube-Traveltalks-1942Minnesta: Land of Plenty. That will get you there.
Have a good day..........TJ

He has been a Johnny Rivers fan for years.
I didn't know he was still around.
How fun!!! We used to have a special dance that we did to "Secret Agent Man"...we still do it at our Class Reunions...even in our old age! LOL I used to love Johnny Rivers.
My bff and I are making plans to see The Moody Blues when they come to Chicago in June. I'm SO excited...they are my very favorites...followed closely by The Eagles (who are coming too...but they're at Soldier Field...waaaaay too huge of a venue for me)!
Glad you enjoyed the concert.
I always liked Johnny Rivers, but have never seen him in concert.
TJ, I'm glad you were able to enjoy your concert.
It is hard for me to hear a song without wanting to sing and move to it.
