have not been around much, either on ivillage or facebook. just don't have the desire to do much these days.
this waiting is taking it's toll on all of us, we are under so much stress.
today our niece is going to start the ball rolling for hospice. my sisters in law can no longer handle their father. i called and talked to him yesterday around lunchtime and it was all i could do to understand him on the phone. we call everyday but dh wanted me to call early yesterday.
we are supposed to go to a dinner at church tomorrow, i already baked two cakes for it last night.
tonight we go to clean the church and that will hopefully get our minds off things.
our youngest and his wife gave us a subscription to netflix and i watched the first movie the other day. wouldn't you know it was about someone teaching others to deal with grief. it was good though and now we wait for the next one.
i have loved having the house open the last couple of days. but, i am sure we are not done with the cold yet. we should have another spell, we always do when my azaleas start budding.
have a great day,

Hi Ellen,

Deb has very good advice, and it sounds like your church event is just the thing. The hospice referral is also going to be a huge help. I know that the limited contact I've had with hospice has always been a very positive experience. They are very special people with amazing skills and such help and comfort for everyone involved. Take care of you.

Hugs,

Melissa
