Been MIA for months

Hi Everybody
I don't know when I was last here, but do know that it's been a long time. I had a bit of a close call in late January, coming home from shopping by bus, was about to get off at my stop and the driver suddenly took off causing me to fall back into the bus. This was the second time in 6 months at the same stop, but the previous time I just banged my head and the driver took me to my door. This time I landed on my right hip and I knew there was something very wrong. I managed to get up, don't know how, but we had to get an ambulance and went to hospital. The hip was broken and needed a half replacement, surgery was that evening.
DD2 was heading to Thailand that night to pick up his wife and kids, so he raced in, saw me, and I told him to get moving! It seems that I then had a heart attack about 48 hours after the accident, so was in critical care for a few days, I have no memory of that. I believe there was a minor stroke also. Had a lot of tests of the heart and it appears there is no permanent damage.
The hip surgery seemed to be healing well, and I was walking with elbow crutches, then the wound suddenly started oozing. Because of the heart attack the surgeon would not risk going in again, so there were probes and stuff. Then I was suspected of having golden staph so was in semi isolation. All in all, I was in hospital for just over a month. I got home on February 23 to find that my PC had died from heat exhaustion LOL (record heat Summer here). DD2 fixed it last weekend with a new power board.
A bit much drama for this little black duck! I'm feeling very flat and have no energy. Plus I'm terrified of buses!!! I just today received taxi vouchers that give me 50% discount, so that will be transport of choice for the time being. The high-light of my life at the moment is that DD2, DDIL, DGS and DGD are all here in my city and have a 2 year visa!!! At the end of that time they can apply for Permanent Residency. DD2 turned down a job in Thailand mainly because of me, which is a lot guilt making, but I am thankful (very). DGS is in an intensive English school and DGD is at kindergarten 2.5 days a week - both are really enjoying themselves.
I've kept you all in my heart while I was away. First thing on the board I checked the Prayer Request folder, I can't answer you individually at the moment, but you are all in my thoughts. A welcome to all the newbies also, from the land Downunder! I will try and visit the Garden more often. Love and hugs, Jenni

Hi Jenni,
Wow, you have really had a time of it. So glad that you are on the mend and good to see you here in the garden.
Hugs,
Melissa
Oh my goodness Jenni! No wonder we haven't heard from you...I'm so sorry to hear about everything you have gone through. I wish there had been someone to let us know. I hope you are now on the mend and feeling much better. You poor dear...
So happy your DS and his family have arrived and are making their home near to you. Fun to have little ones so close.
Please take care, I'll keep you in my prayers and thoughts and look forward to hearing from you again when you can post.
Hugs,
You and me both. Although there has been nothing so dramatic on my side of the pond. Hope all is well now and that you make a speedy recovery. Prayers and positive thoughts on there way...

Oh Jenni, this is TOO MUCH!
Thank you all so much! I've missed you heaps and heaps, began to think I would never get back. Hopefully I will soon get back to more individual message response. I've almost caught up on emails, but I feel that I may have lost a few people.
Finally had a coolish day today after a record Summer of heat and no rain, what a relief! I know it sounds silly, but once wearing minimum clothing there is nothing further to discard. LOL
