Hello and Happy April!
What are your plans for this month? Any celebrations? Any April Fool tricks? What are you doing for Easter?
We are having Easter dinner here. Our DS and DD have invited some of their single friends who don't have family around to join us. Our meal? The traditional ham and potato salad, but DH is also going to make crab imperial. I just haven't decided on a dessert yet. Any ideas?
Next week DD turns 38! Yikes! Hard to believe.
The rest of the month is going to be pretty quiet...I hope!!!
BTW, if you are interested in attending Bugfest this year, you can contact me. We are just about finished with our final plans.

I'm not at all surprised about your good review at work!
Spring has sprung Hooray! The sun is shining, the birds are courting, Bluebonnets are blooming, everything is turning green, and it's warm (no more heater drying out my skin). There are no birthdays or anniversaries this month just lots of events. Ballet on the 10th, Beethoven on the 16th, and John Williams conducting his own music on the 20th (I'll be taking DGS age 7 to this concert). I've added a Cha-Cha/Waltz class to the Fox-trot/Rumba class at the dance studio so the dance lessons are moving right along. All of this should keep me too busy for spontaneous bus travel to my new favorite destination (NYC)
Hugs,
Melissa
Ellen here from eastern Washington. We are having March weather now after having April weather in March. Yesterday it snowed like crazy, was real windy and only in the 40s. It is supposedly 50 today but the wind is blowing and it feels much colder. Nights have been in the high 20s. The sky got black and it just started hailing so hard that it is bouncing off the ground.
I started back in my old department on the 1st. Feels like going home again - so many people from different departments have called or stopped by to welcome me back. It is kind of funny - April 1 was the date I started my first full-time job back in 1969. Easter dinner tomorrow with the ex, son, daughter and her boyfriend. Have a girlfriend from high school and a niece with birthdays on the 7th.
I hope none of you are in the flood zones that I have been reading about.
Have a wonderful Easter.
Ellen
Hi...Ruth here...from Minnesota....popping in ...to say Hi...remember me....been busy...We went and saw our son, ddil and granddaughter in Michigan in March....also been spending time with my folks....

My ddil and son here in Minnesota are having us and the grandparents for Easter....So will be 9 of us....I am bringing cake and homemade bread....And will of course LOVE to play with the grandsons ages 3 and 2....will be a fun day!
Been having wonderful weather for Minnesota...smiles!
I wish I could just stay home for a week and read it Pat...it's SO good. I'm reading it while I eat lunch at work and I only get a 1/2 hour at a time. I WAS going to spend Easter day reading but that got all messed up. I do love it...
Hey, Franni!
Getting ready to go to the camper.......
And a part that I like a lot? Del loves helping people. And this week he has been working for our friends that added onto their office, he is cleaning and moving shelves, putting office furniture together. She insists on paying him, she said if he didn't do it she would have to pay someone to do it and she trusts him and likes the way he works.....So we are going to use is gains this summer for our camping (which went up this year) so far we will have 2 months paid....he said that is like being paid to fish......lol...
Strange thing........I went to sign into Facebook and it is in arabian or some such thing.....I can't read it anyway. Even when I go from my bookmard......will someone check it out and see if it is like that for everyone or just me......I have so many messages I need to get in there pretty soon........
Thanks
Retired and lovin'it.
